We are aware that sometimes the biggest obstacle for achieving an international accreditation for both your team and hospital administration can be the language barriers they are faced with when evaluating requirements with medical jargon and specifications such as those outlined in the Standards of Quality Assurance in IO. We have had some of our supplemental documents translated in order to better assist you and your teams.
We have created a self-assessment checklist to help facilities offering Interventional Oncology services evaluate their processes in view of quality assurance for the whole patient pathway. It is intended to be used as a simple and quick way to evaluate your starting point regarding the standards for achieving accreditation, and to see which areas may need special attention or improvement. If you believe you can make the necessary improvements to meet the core criteria in less than 18 months, we recommend you take the first step now and get your seal as an IASIOS Enrolled Centre and work with the IASIOS team and other Accredited Centres to help you bring your centre to the next level.
