It also marks a significant step forward for the field, as leading institutions across Asia continue to shape the global landscape of IO practice.

The Vascular & Interventional Radiology Department at the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs (MNGHA) has been accredited as an IASIOS Centre, becoming the second institution in Saudi Arabia to receive this recognition. The accreditation confirms that the department’s interventional oncology service line operates according to the highest international standards of standardisation and quality. Led by Dr Mohammad Arabi, Dr Shaker Alshehri, and Dr Mohamed Muaikeel, the team demonstrated a strong commitment to structured, high-quality care throughout the accreditation process.

We welcome University Hospital Galway as an Enrolled Centre in the IASIOS community.
