We are proud that IASIOS accreditation has strengthened how our service is recognised within our institution and beyond. It provides internationally recognised validation of the quality and safety of our practice, reinforcing our position in discussions with hospital leadership, particularly around strategic planning and resource allocation.
The accreditation has also increased confidence among referring clinicians, especially medical oncologists and oncologic surgeons, and strengthened our credibility in research collaborations and referral networks. Most importantly, it has helped formalise interventional oncology as a clinical specialty within comprehensive cancer care.
